Despite a lot of trouble over the weekend, Philip Gehrman finished four in the supercar finale at the RallyX Nordic event in Nysum in Denmark.
Saturday was tough for Philip Gehrman, who needs every lap with the new car. In Saturday’s initial free training, Philip had problems with the gearbox and gear 5 could not get in and in training 2 Philip went a little too tight on a tire trunk in the entrance to the joker yard and remained standing.
In Q1 it went all the better and Gehrman came second in his heat with third time overall.
In today’s Q2, Philip had problems with the view on the dusty path, but to Q3 the track staff watered between each heat and before Q4 Philip was in third place.
In Q4, Philip had engine problems, but lost only one placement and was in the first start in one of the semi-finals. There it was a tough battle with Jere Kalliokoski, but a second place was enough for 2nd row in the final, where Philip ended four. We take good points with us and the weekend feels very successful despite some mixed results. Every time I sit in the car, the pace increases and a podium place is not far away at all. In the RallyX table, Philip Gehrman advanced to sixth place.
